On October 17th, we proudly launched the inaugural Leeds Trauma-Informed Film Festival at the iconic Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds. This groundbreaking event showcased the creativity and compelling stories of services in Leeds—and beyond—that support individuals facing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, and other adversities.
The festival celebrated the exceptional work of local services and the inspiring journeys of their service users. Through the powerful medium of film, we explored themes of trauma, resilience, and growth, fostering a deeper understanding of these experiences within our community.
But the festival didn’t stop there! We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Virtual Festival, where you can watch all the films online. Feel free to share these inspiring stories with anyone who might benefit.
And guess what? We’ll be back in 2025 with more stories to share. Stay tuned for updates!
