Building on the success of the 2024 and 2025 festivals, the Trauma-Informed Film Festival 2026 will take place on 1 October 2026, at the Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds. Learn more about it here! The festival uses film and creative storytelling to deepen understanding of trauma-informed practice, amplify lived experience, and strengthen collaboration across statutory, voluntary and community services. The 2026 festival is focusing on the trauma informed principle of collaboration. Risk and Resilience alongside a collection of people who work for the VCS Alliance, GIPSIL/Engage Leeds, Change, Grow, Live and BARCA – third sector organisations based in Leeds, the wider West Yorkshire area and nationally based.
