Ketamine Resources

Ketamine is a dissociative anaesthetic that has been used in medical settings since the 1960s.  Its dissociative effects—such as detachment from reality, sensory distortion, and temporary paralysis—can be appealing to some users, but they also bring significant risks, particularly when used frequently or in high doses. Support workers may encounter individuals using ketamine occasionally, bingeing during social events, or using it daily to cope with trauma, mental health challenges, or other underlying issues. The impact of ketamine use can vary widely—from minimal disruption to daily life, to severe physical and psychological harm.

PLEASE NOTE: These documents and videos are intended for informational and guidance purposes only and does not constitute clinical or medical advice.

Our aim is to provide accurate, evidence-based information on ketamine to support safer choices and reduce harm.
