Hello and welcome to Risk and Resilience.
I founded R&R in 2018 with the aim of supporting organisations working with people who face complex challenges. Since then, we’ve worked across the UK with a wide range of partners — from third sector organisations and local authorities to education providers and health and social care teams.
Our mission is to embed trauma-informed, evidence-based, and person-centred approaches into everyday practice, strategy, and culture. We believe this is essential for creating environments where both staff and service users feel safe, respected, and empowered.
Over the years, R&R has evolved to meet changing needs. We’ve developed a broad offer that includes face-to-face training, digital consultancy, and blended learning options that incorporate the latest in online technology. Our approach is underpinned by cultural humility, inclusion, and accessibility. We work actively to ensure our services are relevant and responsive to neurodiverse people, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ communities, and other marginalised groups.
Our areas of specialism include trauma-informed practice in the context of substance use, homelessness, mental health, education, staff wellbeing, reflective practice, and strategic development. We're also proud to offer our innovative Trauma Informed Learning Tool (TILT), which combines engaging e-learning modules with access to our growing Trauma Informed Community.
